This is a very common surgical procedure that uses implants to enlarge and shape the breast.

Nowadays the implants are soft silicone shells filled with a silicon gel, that in case of a rupture do not flow out, and are approved by the FDA since November 2006.

At the past they were filled with silicon oil and they leaked out. We use only the approved implants.

We consider seriously your individual wishes about the shape and size. We have three different shapes of implants to fulfill this goal.

At the Nürnberger Fachklinik an endoscopic implant technique is used during the armpit approach in order to get the best results.

The implants could be placed beneath the mammary tissue or under the breast muscle. Again, your surgeon will advice you as to the best option. After the implant has been properly positioned an adjusted to the correct shape, the incision is closed with surgical subcutaneous sutures.

Breast enlargement is done to enhance or enlarge the breast considered too small in the great majority of cases. Also, restores or reshape the breast after pregnancy or significant weigh loss. A breast lift could be done at the same time as the enlargement procedure.

Another indication is to make the breast more evenly proportioned in women with different breast size. Also, breast implants may be used in reconstructive surgery after breast cancer surgery

The procedure needs a general anesthetic and may require in some cases an overnight in the clinic.

An der Achselhöhle setzen wir einen Schnitt und zwar an einer vorhandenen Hautfalte, ein Raum zur Platzierung des Implantates wird geschaffen, mit der Hilfe des Endoskops wird unter direktem Blick eine Blutstillung und genaue Kontrolle des Operationsgebietes durchgeführt. Das erlaubt uns auf eine Drainage zu verzichten. Der Aufenthalt reduziert sich auf höchstens eine Übernachtung unter medizinischer Fachaufsicht. Bei belastungsfähigem Kreislauf können Sie sogar noch am Tag der Operation nach Hause entlassen werden, was meistens der Fall ist.
